DREAMS IN THE MINEFIELD/DRØMMER I MINEFELTET
Seiha, a young Cambodian deminer born in peacetime, risks her life daily to clear mines, while quietly battling infertility and dreaming of a peaceful future and family.

Born in peacetime, Seiha was reluctantly pushed into demining at 19 to help her family. Her husband and younger brother have recently also become deminers, following in the footsteps of their retired father. They are well aware of the dangers that comes with the profession, but for young people, the pay from demining is good, providing them with financial means to pursue their dreams. However, the fear of a workplace accident constantly lingers, especially for Seiha’s mother. Despite this, Seiha and her family demonstrate immense life force, resilience, and unity, where the love is strong.
